In short, Ten-80, it’s a massive lake and watersports complex just outside Tamworth. This year we’ve upgraded everything to make the event bigger and better, even the venue. The guys at ten-80 have offered us their fantastic facilities for the weekend. The site has got everything you could need, fantastic views of the water, great facilities, and above all the best attitude. They have already started putting in place the preparations for the event, building additional buildings, extra decking, and generally changing their site to suit the needs of an event like AIR06. The site is about as good as it gets. The lake is just of the M6, it’s about 90 mins from London, 30 Mins from Birmingham, or 90 mins from Liverpool, its dead easy to find. Leave the M6 at junction 6 or 7 and join the M42, leave at junction 8, follow signs to Kingsbury, at Kingsbury follow signs to Tamworth (A51) and the lake complex is on the left! Easy If you want to camp, no problem, you can roll up whenever you like, pitch your tent next to the lakes and start to enjoy the place. Ten80 has all the space you could need, complete with changing rooms and showers in the club house…and this year we will have enough toilets!!
